I love a sunburnt country but the stupidity can be hard to stomach.
Elizabeth's article has motivated me to start this blog.
50 years ago the architect Robin Boyd published a book called The Australian Ugliness. And nothing much has changed since then. Australians are still littering the place with total crap. This site is dedicated to naming and shaming those responsible for all this butt-ugly, badly designed, half-baked, unresolved bullshit that smugly parades itself as "world-class" this, that and the other in this bloody country. Just remember if an Australian refers to something as "world-class" it's probably crap. Genuinely good stuff does not need such pathetically silly little self-congratulatory labels like "world class." Dumb, dumb, dumb.
